Toy Ny Sikidy Saka : Ny Fo Iray Ihany, Fa Ny Loha No Samy Hafa.
This proverb compares a situation where there is a fundamental unity but varied appearances or manifestations. It refers to the traditional Malagasy oracle, sikidy, used for divination. Although the method and tool (the cat in this case) are central (the heart), there are often multiple interpretations or visions (the heads). An equivalent English proverb might be: ‘All roads lead to Rome’ or ‘Unity in diversity’.
