Ny Atody Tsy Miady Amam-Bato
This proverb means that it is unwise to start a conflict when one is clearly in a weaker position compared to a stronger opponent. Trying to fight a much stronger adversary often leads to defeat and negative consequences. An equivalent English saying could be: ‘One should not bring a knife to a gunfight.’
