Mimonomonona Hoatra Ny Lalitramiriorio Hoatra Ny Angidina
This Malagasy proverb depicts the image of a person who is constantly complaining and wandering aimlessly, like a camel that grumbles incessantly or an eel that moves unpredictably. It is a metaphor for describing someone who is discontented and instead of seeking constructive solutions, gets lost in complaints and aimless drifting. An equivalent in English might be: « Complaining without seeking solutions ». This unproductive attitude is often criticized in Malagasy societies where resilience and proactivity are valued.
