Mihinjihinjy Toy Ny Adin'angely
This Malagasy proverb, from the Merina origin, describes a scene of conflict or disagreement where the people involved seem to be engaged in an excessive or unreasonable quarrel, just like one might imagine angels fighting. It implies that a conflict is taking place intensely, even if it might seem absurd or pointless. An equivalent proverb in English would be: ‘Fighting like cats and dogs’.
