Jiolahy Matin'ny Omby Masiaka, Ka Matin'ny Loza Ny Antambo.
This proverb means that those who take risks or live dangerously may very well meet their end in an unexpected way. The bandit, who leads a perilous life, ends up being killed by a fierce bull, an unforeseen event. Similarly, those living in peril can succumb to dangers they didn’t anticipate. An equivalent proverb in English would be: ‘He who sows the wind will reap the whirlwind’.
