Aza Manao Ompikely Zatra Lapa, Ka Mitsipi-Drora Am-Pihinanana.
This proverb advises against becoming rude or ungrateful when benefitting from someone’s generosity. Essentially, it is improper to criticize or disrespect those who treat you well. Just like the little dog that spits out its food while enjoying comfort, one should show gratitude and politeness in all situations, regardless of one’s comfort level. An equivalent proverb in English is ‘Don’t bite the hand that feeds you’.
